The Second Blade
Two Pedals. One Bad Intention.
The green EVIL TWIN hits the signal first. The original CHAINSAW waits behind it. Run either pedal alone, or send one machine directly into the next and let the second react to whatever the first one leaves behind.

Start With One. Wake the Other.
A fresh instance opens deliberately quiet: EVIL TWIN engaged on PITCH at zero, CHAINSAW waiting behind it, bypassed. The plugin is nearly transparent until you move a control or wake the second machine. Nothing is destroyed until you ask for it.

Sixteen States. Nothing Forgotten.
Each of the eight EVIL TWIN modes remembers its own settings. Each of the eight CHAINSAW modes remembers its own settings. Switch away, build something else, come back, and the state you left behind is still there. Sixteen mode states in total, eight per pedal, and all of them restore with the preset and the DAW project.

The Twin Learned Four New Tricks.
Pitch. Formant. Granular. Crush.
Pitch
Continuous Pitch Shift
Classic CHAINSAW moves in fixed musical intervals. The twin does not. PITCH is one continuous sweep from two octaves down to two octaves up, with an exact numeric readout on the LCD and an octave-above companion voice on VOICE. It opens zero-centered and perfectly neutral, so the destruction starts only when you push it.

Formant
Body Without Pitch
FORMANT moves the body of the sound without necessarily moving the pitch. The bipolar AMOUNT sweep drags the resonant character up or down, VOICE sharpens the resonance around the new shape, the BODY control multiplies the frame from 0.5x to 2.0x, and the PRESERVE switch decides how much of the original survives the move.
Bipolar ShiftResonanceBody 0.5x to 2.0xPreserve On / Off
Granular
Grain Reconstruction
GRANULAR takes the signal apart and rebuilds it from grains. AMOUNT sprays them into chaos, VOICE sets the grain size, DENSITY decides how many survive, and pitch quantization can run free or lock to musical steps. FREEZE latches the most recent capture and holds it for as long as you leave the switch down.
SprayGrain SizeDensityFree / MusicalFreeze Latch
Crush
Rate and Bit Destruction
CRUSH is sample-rate starvation and bit-depth destruction on one sweep. AMOUNT is the destruction itself, VOICE balances rate crush against bit crush, the BITS selector steps through 12, 8, 4, and 1, the RATE selector divides down to x1/64, and a post-crush filter decides whether the wreckage arrives raw, softened, or dark.
None of these four exist anywhere in classic CHAINSAW. They live only on the green pedal, and everything they produce feeds straight into the machine behind it.
The Original. Built In.
The right-hand pedal is the complete classic CHAINSAW - the same eight modes, voicings, behavior, and sixteen factory presets. It stays familiar by design, giving EVIL TWIN a known foundation to transform, destabilize, or completely destroy. If you already know CHAINSAW, the second machine is exactly where your hands expect it to be.

Included With Your Purchase
CHAINSAW: EVIL TWIN also includes the original CHAINSAW at no extra cost.
The classic engine already lives inside EVIL TWIN as the second pedal, and your purchase includes the original version of CHAINSAW too - the same eight-mode machine that started it all.

Kickback
The right pedal carries all sixteen classic CHAINSAW presets. The green pedal deliberately starts without a second factory bank. Choose a CHAINSAW sound, then build EVIL TWIN around it - pitch it, reshape it, scatter it, crush it, or barely touch it at all. The left side is there to turn an existing starting point into something of your own, not hand you another list of finished answers. Save what you build as your own preset.
Everything Exists Twice.
Every control below belongs to each pedal independently.
Amount
The expression-style primary performance control. Its meaning changes with the selected mode, and it is built to be ridden, not set.
Voice
The second character control of every mode. Interval, resonance, grain size, carrier shape, balance, or cluster width, depending on the machine.
Blend
A true dry and wet crossfade sitting after the mode engine, so each pedal can whisper its damage under the source or replace it completely.
Tone
Adds low-mid warmth and body beneath the effect. At zero it is out of the circuit entirely.
Sat
Full-spectrum saturation. The physical collar moves through color zones as you push it, the drag grows stiffer inside the danger range, and the first crossing into the red zone triggers a single one-time warning. After that, the pedal assumes you meant it.
Choke
A per-pedal limiter and level-control stage where applicable, keeping the more violent modes from winning through volume alone.
Input
Independent input gain for each stage. Drive the twin gently and slam the classic, or the reverse.
Output
Independent output gain for each stage, set after everything that pedal has done.
Footswitch
Independent true-stage bypass per pedal. Bypassing removes that processing stage and passes the signal cleanly through it. Both footswitches are automatable.
Built Like Hardware.

Home Position
Double-click any AMOUNT rocker and it returns to that mode's home position.
Direct Selection
Click mode names directly. Active modes carry glowing LEDs, on both pedals.
Living LCDs
LCD cells support drag adjustment, and direct numeric entry where a number lives in the cell.
Two Preset Strips
Each pedal carries its own preset strip. User presets cross-load between the two systems.
Undo and Redo
Global undo and redo cover moves on both pedals.
Mono / Stereo
One shared MONO/STEREO switch governs the complete plugin.
Resizable
Free resize from 50% to 150%, aspect-locked, with one-click 50%, 75%, and 100% size presets.

Input
The signal enters the plugin and reaches the green EVIL TWIN first.
02
Evil Twin
Choose one of eight modes or bypass the pedal completely. The green pedal processes the signal before passing it to CHAINSAW.
03
Chainsaw
The complete classic CHAINSAW pedal receives whatever leaves EVIL TWIN. Run it alone, stack it after the first pedal, or bypass it completely.
04
Output
The result leaves the fixed series chain. EVIL TWIN always comes first, followed by CHAINSAW.
One Was a Problem. Two Became a System.
Four new machines feed the complete original CHAINSAW. Bypass either side, run one alone, or let the first pedal decide what the second one has to survive.

Questions
CHAINSAW: EVIL TWIN combines two pedals in one fixed series chain. The green EVIL TWIN adds PITCH, FORMANT, GRANULAR, RING MOD, FREQ SHIFT, WARBLE, CRUSH, and CHAINSAW, then feeds the complete classic CHAINSAW pedal on the right. Run either pedal alone or engage both and let one machine feed the next.
The right pedal is the complete classic CHAINSAW. The green pedal adds four modes the original does not have - PITCH, FORMANT, GRANULAR, and CRUSH - and gives you a second independently switchable machine in front of it.
No. EVIL TWIN is its own plugin, and your purchase also includes the original CHAINSAW and MEOW at no extra cost.
Yes. Each pedal has its own footswitch, so you can run EVIL TWIN alone, CHAINSAW alone, or engage both pedals together in the fixed EVIL TWIN into CHAINSAW chain.
Each pedal remembers the settings for its modes as you move between them. Switch away, build another sound, then return and the previous mode restores the state you left behind.
No. Choose a pedal, choose a mode, move AMOUNT and VOICE, and engage the second pedal when you want to stack them. The deeper controls are there when you want them, but they are not required to start using the plugin.
64-bit VST3 for Windows, and Audio Unit (AU) + VST3 for macOS (64-bit). Logic and GarageBand use the AU; most other DAWs use the VST3. No AAX, so it is not compatible with Pro Tools.
No. Windows and macOS are separate purchases. Each platform has its own checkout.
After purchase, you'll receive your license keys by email. Each license is intended for one user and includes activation for up to 2 machines. If you change computers or need an activation reset, contact support and we'll help.
All digital purchases are final due to the nature of downloadable software. If you have an installation, compatibility, or activation issue, contact support and we'll help you get it working.
The plugin is placed on a stereo track and provides a shared MONO/STEREO processing switch that governs the complete chain.
About
Divine Punishment's debut album "Infinity" is six tracks of meticulously crafted extremity. Every note, every layer, every sound, built from scratch with no outside input and no creative compromises. The music is orchestrated violence, with each moving part being exactly where it's supposed to be. There's a precision to it, but also an elegance, something closer to composition than chaos.
Infinity is the debut album. Six tracks that move between crushing, calculated aggression and moments of genuine beauty, tied together by a single idea: "Existence itself is the architect of Divine Punishment." Some people will suffer for what they've done, and they won't even know it's happening. That's the concept. That's the sound. And this is only the beginning.
Lore
Divine Punishment is the idea that consequences don't announce themselves. They don't arrive with preface or warning. They're happening right now whether you like it or not. Most people just don't recognize it until it's too late, and some never do.
Infinity was built around that idea. Creation and destruction aren't opposites, they're the same motion observed at different points in the cycle. Everything collapses. Everything begins again. The album is six tracks moving through that loop, and the loop doesn't end when the music stops. Every note was written, performed, produced, and mixed by the same hand.
Infinity eventually ends. But sometimes it's just the beginning.
